Michael St. Clair was born in in Virginia in 1953. In 1969 he enrolled at Prescott College. His professors included people like Vern Taylor and archeologist Bob Euler. Michael met Fred Eiseman and Dick Hertzler. In the 1970’s they decided to litigate the Colorado River Management Plan. Joe Monroe had ongoing litigation over the same issue and the cases were merged.

Jeff grew up in Edwardsville, Illinois and graduated from Southern Illinois University in 1986 with a degree in Civil Engineering. His first job was on the Valley City Eagle Bridges over the Illinois River. After a bridge job in Hawaii, Jeff went to work for Kramer Brothers. Kramer won the bid to build the Navajo Bridge and Jeff was the project engineer.

Curt started working for the National Park Service in 1972 at Cottonwood Campground as a seasonal ranger. He served again at Grand Canyon in 1976-1979 as s a seasonal winter range. In 1979 he became permanent as a dispatcher at Grand Canyon. His final duty station was Superintendent at Joshua Tree National Park. Born in Charles City, Iowa, in 1944, Charles "Charlie" Schulz joined the Air Force in the fall of 1965. As a Missile Systems Analyst, he worked with highly corrosive and explosive fuels and oxidizers at Titan II missile silos near Tucson, AZ. Charlie did an upper-half Grand Canyon Youth river trip in 1980. He hiked out from Bright Angel beach. On reaching the South Rim he was amazed by the view of the Grand Canyon. Charlie did a number of Grand Canyon backpacks in the 1980s. This interview series has not been transcribed yet.

His permit was cancelled but through political connections was reinstated for the people not arrested, including his mom and dad. Rudy Schlesinger did odd cleanup jobs working out of his garage in Sylmar, CA in the 1970’s. In 1976 he was hired by TWA and United to remove the TWA and United plane wreckage from the 1956 midair crash. He wasn’t known for paying his bills. He "hired" Dave and Billy to bundle the wreckage into sling loads for helicopter fly out. They worked on it for 5 weeks. Dynamite was used to reduce the aircraft engines into smaller parts. Grad student Ben Carver joined Tom Martin as interviewers. This interview has yet to be transcribed.

As she grew up in or near Los Angeles, Marty toured the United States in the summers with her foster aunt. This included her first trip to Grand Canyon in 1952. Marty hiked the Bright Angel Trail to the River and back in a day in 1955 and after graduating from high school, arrived in Flagstaff, AZ for College in the fall of 1958. This 12 part interview has yet to be transcribed.

This fueled his passion for drawing and once out of high school in 1965, Richard was employed as a draftsman.
