Kanan, Muriel and Mike
In 1960 while working at the North Rim Lodge, Mike met Muriel. She had worked as a "cabin girl" the year before. Mike was hired in 1960 to play the Lodge organ for the guests. The Part 1 interview includes them singing the "Sing-Away" song.

Karpiscak, Martin
Born in 1945, Martin grew up in in South Bronx and graduated with a Bachelors in Biology from City College University in 1968. Two years later he was offered a teaching assistant job at the University of Arizona as part of his Masters in microbiotics. In Tucson, Martin met Ray Turner and was soon assisting in campsite surveys on the Colorado River in Grand Canyon National Park with the Museum of Arizona. This interview series has not been transcribed yet.
